My name is Max Büchner. I come from Wörrstadt, a small town south of Mainz, and from a family with a long tradition in finance. My great-grandfather was a bank director at Dresdner Bank and CFO of the König Friedrich August Hütte steelworks in Dresden. My father is the second-generation owner of a tax consulting and auditing firm. After studying at EBS, Harvard, and Oxford, I worked in investment banking and private equity.
One topic that is particularly close to my heart is business succession in medium-sized companies. With Speer Group, I want to enable entrepreneurs to achieve their strategic and business goals and safely hand over their life's work to good hands. To this end, we invest in solid companies and the people behind them, create jobs, and promote the economy in their region.
